Photographer Keisuke Naito, known as “Chinkame” and a close friend of Rockin’ Jelly Bean,

presents a retrospective of his work with American custom car builder, and artist, and a counterculture icon.

Rockin’Jelly Bean created the title artwork.

Roth, who enjoyed cult popularity worldwide, profoundly influenced Rockin' Jelly Bean's art style, and is widely known as the creator of the iconic hot rod character “Rat Fink,” embodied rebellion and freedom as a hero worthy of the name “Big Daddy.” He passed away in 2001 at the age of 69.

This book is the world's first photo collection featuring images captured in 1996 when photographer Keisuke Naito, known as “Chinkame,” and his team visited Roth's home and studio in Utah. It offers a rare glimpse into the largely unknown later years of Ed Roth's life, making it an invaluable record.
